We are pleased to announce the sale, finalized on 15 May 2025, of a 4.9 MWp solar PV plant located in the Municipality of Pesaro (Marche), to a leading national operator active in the supply of electricity and gas, with a strong presence in Central Italy and a strategic plan focused on expanding renewable energy generation.
The transaction takes place in a context of growing interest from utilities and institutional investors in solid, well-located projects capable of contributing meaningfully to the energy transition.
With this operation, Heron strengthens its position as an independent player in the development of large-scale solar PV plants, with a focus on suitable areas in Northern and Central Italy, in accordance with Legislative Decree 199/2021 and regional regulations.
Our commitment continues with an expanding pipeline—developed in partnership with Atlas RE—of solar, agrivoltaic and battery energy storage (BESS) projects, designed to deliver high-quality, bankable assets capable of attracting both industrial and financial investors, while contributing to the security, flexibility and decarbonization of the national electricity system.
