Energy sharing communities (Collective Consumption) – Feasibility analysis

With the implementation of the RED II Directive, Italy the first energy sharing communities started to emerge.
A monetary incentive is granted for the electricity produced by renewable energy plants and shared among the member of the community.

The convenience of the investment for each energy community strongly relies on the amount of shared electricity.

With some preliminary data we are able to understand:

The feasibility of a project;

The appropriate (target) number of community members;

How to finance the project.
